Hello everyone!
Thanks for listening in to another episode of 21st Century Hannah! I appreciate it. This is actually my first ‘scheduled’ episode. Previously I had just been posting them at will, fighting the suggestion that I should be on a schedule. But I finally gave in and decided to set a schedule.
Episodes will now be posted the second and fourth Monday of every month. See, this is why it is important to have people in your life who actually care about you and your platform. So when I am pushing back, they are strong enough to insist without being mean or rude about it, lol. I am so thankful for those people in my life!
Well, this episode, yes, the title sounds a little sad right? The fact is, childlessness, childless not by choice; can at times be a sad subject to discuss. I try my very best to tell you what I truly believe in my heart: that we can and we will live a joyful and relevant life. But the fact is, not every childless not by choice woman realizes this yet. And unfortunately, many childless not by choice women live in a society where they are surrounded by the negativity, the blame, that this is all their fault.
Some women see no way out, except suicide. This is why I am so passionate about my platform. I must get the word out worldwide. And you can help me by sharing my podcast with friends and family, and strangers even!
So, this episode is about the use of suicide as an option for dealing with childlessness. But I want to combat that option with my option, my message, that you, we, can live a joyful and relevant life even though childless not by choice.
I am also working on a great, free, powerpoint presentation that will be embedded on my website soon, that will take you on a journey to living a joyful and relevant life. I will let you know when the presentation goes live on my website.

Subject: Assistance from influencers.
Dear Madames/ Sirs.
In 2007 I joined the struggle of the disabled in Israel. As of July 10, 2018, I am doing this as part of the “Nitgaber”-transparent disabled movement which I joined.
As we know, people who try to promote various things on the Internet such as products, websites they own and in many cases also social struggles of various kinds are sometimes helped by network influencers – famous people (so-called “celebrities”) who promote their ideas for an extremely high fee.
My question to you is: Do you know an economic model, with the help of which even people like me, who live on a low income, can integrate into such a format?
Regards,
assaf benyamini.

Subject: Technological tools.
Dear Madames/ Sirs
Since 2007, I have been participating in the struggle for the disabled in Israel – a struggle that is known to be extensively covered in the media as well.
One of the means by which we try to advance the struggle is by using various technological tools: writing on social networks, opening websites and trying to promote and improve them, managing virtual communities and so on.
My question in this regard is: Is it possible for your company or organization to offer technological tools that can help us in our struggle? And if so – in what areas, and how?
Best regards,

5)On 18 of July 2018 I joined the “nitgaber” movement-an ISRAELI social movement trying to concern the civil rights of “transparent disabled people”-people like me suffering from very difficult diseases not shown externally. This lack of our illness visibility causes to very difficult discrimination against us.
Our movement’s manager is Tatyana Kaduchkin, and her phone numbers are:
972-52-3708001. and: 972-3-5346644.
6) Below are some explanatory words about our movement, as they appeared in the press:
Tatyana Kaduchkin, an ordinary citizen, decided to establish the movement “We Will Overcome” with the help of what she calls the “transparent disabled.” So far, around 500 people from all over the country have participated in her movement. In an interview with Channel 7 , she talks about the project and those disabled people who do not receive proper and sufficient assistance from the relevant authorities, just because they are transparent.
In her words, the disabled population can be divided into two groups: the disabled with wheelchairs and the disabled without wheelchairs. She defines the second group as the “transparent disabled,” because in her words, they do not receive the same services as the disabled with a wheelchair, although they are defined as having 75-100 percent disability.
These people, she explains, cannot make a living on their own, and they need the extra services to which the disabled with wheelchairs are entitled. For example, the transparent disabled receive a low disability allowance from social security, they do not receive certain supplements such as special services allowance, escort allowance, mobility allowance, and they also receive a lower allowance from the Ministry of Housing.
According to the research conducted by Kaduchkin, these transparent disabled people are hungry for bread, despite the attempt to claim that there were no people hungry for bread in Israel in 2016. The research she conducted also states that the suicide rates among them are high. In the movement she founded, she works for the inclusion of the transparent disabled in the waiting lists for public housing. This is because, she says, they do not usually enter these lists, although they are supposed to be eligible. She holds quite a few meetings with the members of the Knesset and even participates in sessions and discussions of relevant committees in the Knesset, but she says that those who are able to help do not listen and the listeners are in opposition and therefore cannot help.
She is now calling more and more “transparent” disabled people to join her, to turn to her so that she can help them. According to her estimation, if the situation continues as it is today, there won’t be any escape from a demonstration of the disabled who will claim their rights and the basic conditions for their livelihood.
